



What is Angono CTC Angono CTC is a Community Technology Center that provides free direct access to information, communication and education to meet the social, economic, and cultural needs of the under-served communities of Angono, Rizal, Philippines. Mission: In an increasingly technologically dominated society, people who are economically disadvantaged will be further left behind if they are not provided training on the use of information tools. Our targets are at risk and drop-outs youth, women re-entering work place, senior citizens and disadvantaged individuals requiring to gain computer skills. Our mission is to provide direct technology access and education to under-served communities of Angono, Rizal. History: Angono CTC started on 19 August 2001 as Dona Aurora Computer Club (DACC) in Barangay Poblacion Itaas, to give free computer and Internet education to disadvantaged kids of this barangay who have had no or liitle opportunity to gain computer skills. A small hometown Computer Project by Jorge S. and Nita B. Villamarin Surrogately cared by two sisters, Cynthia M. Cruz and Mira S. Miranda. Patienly mentored by Mr.Francis C. Beronio. It all begun in the small garage of the humble home of Mrs. Leonor SB Samson |
